Our Network — CyberAware UK & GCC

One team, one mission, two regional sites — so the guidance you read is built for the banks, apps, reporting routes and laws where you actually live.

Who we are

CyberAware is a small, independent team of former UK law-enforcement investigators and OSINT researchers. We build free, plain-English resources to help families, schools and communities spot and avoid online scams.

🇬🇧 CyberAware UK
cyberawareuk.co.uk

Scams, phishing and dark-web threats affecting UK residents and businesses.

🌍 CyberAware GCC
cyberawareuk.com

Scams and digital threats affecting Gulf Cooperation Council countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman) — in English and Arabic.

Why two websites?

Scam tactics overlap globally, but local context matters — different banks and apps are cloned, different reporting channels exist (Action Fraud vs local police and CERTs), and languages and consumer protections differ. Keeping UK and Gulf advice separate stops confusion and keeps guidance accurate.

What we do

📰 Daily threat briefs — plain-English summaries of current scams, phishing campaigns and dark-web activity.
🔎 Free scam checkers — check suspicious links, messages, numbers and emails.
📘 Step-by-step guides — bank OTP, delivery texts, job & rental fraud, crypto fraud and more.
🆘 Victim support resources — clear next steps if you clicked a link, shared details or lost money.
🏫 Agency & school resources — co-brandable materials for governments, schools, banks and community groups.
🛰️ Dark-web monitoring — feeds our alerts and briefings on both sites.

Independence

We are independent of any bank, telecom, government or vendor. We do not sell personal data, and we do not accept paid placement that could influence our advice. Our work is funded through small, clearly disclosed affiliate commissions and voluntary reader support.
