Report fraud to the police on 999, and cyber incidents to Qatar's National Cyber Security Agency (CERT contact: cert@ncsa.gov.qa). Contact your bank first if money was taken. Keep messages and transaction IDs as evidence.

Is this message from my bank asking for my OTP real?

No. Qatari banks never ask for your OTP, PIN or password by phone, SMS or WhatsApp. If a message pressures you to share a code or click a link, it is a scam: do not respond, call your bank on the official number and report it.

How do I check if a Qatar government link is official?

Official Qatari government services run through Hukoomi (hukoomi.gov.qa) and official ministry apps. Be suspicious of any message with a link claiming to be from a ministry, the Amir or a bank — check the domain and verify through the official app or portal before clicking.
